Shores

September 2024

On shores unbounded, a timid shell has found its way, The waves crashed with velocity that caused dismay. But yet the shell remains unbroken, come what may, Tossed and tumbled around another day. Until the shell finds firm ground amidst the spray, It will not leave the shores to further stray. Without a force to set it on its way,The tides may turn, and currents may sway, Yet steadfast, our shell finds need to obey.Perhaps in time, it'll find its own way,To pastures unknown, where mysteries lay,Or rest with ease upon the sand's display.
